newb has a question?
It will offroad and even more often if were done up, and ifa guy was to do it I think I'd have to do the big lift cause I'm not interested in wearing parts out premature going with the t-bar crank and shackless in the back.Sounds like more headache in the end.I have no issues with a body lift whatsoever but after the spacers for the 16" rims and with a 2" body lift I think The best you could get on are 31"s. I think I'd like 32's but mabey 31's would do.I'm kinda indecisive.
Yea..there's a real good thread about tire size on here somewhere...but basically..why go for the 32 over the 31? The 32 only gives you .5' more clearance... If you like the 32x11.50s, you could always just try to find a 31x11.50...give you the width and size you want, without the headache of 32s.
And the key to not wearing out parts is just to keep an eye on 'em. You see the wear and tear and the signs of problems..just stay on top of it!

Be carefull with the torison bar crank!
Yea it cranks the truck up, but the sideeffects are far worse in the long run.
Increased wear on suspension components, and once you crank your torsion bars to a certain point, alignment can no longer be done. Which means youll be burning through tires very quickly!
since yours is a 99, check to see if the bars are sagging at all, My right side was sagging when I lifted mine, and I had to crank it to the max to fit my 31s now MY truck can not be aligned.
Just a fair warning, just becase its free and easy doesnt mean its the best way to go.

Ya know that's what's interesting about my truck...I went up the 1.5' and my alignment was still in spec. I was concerned about maxing out the alignment and what not...but yea...
Definitely weigh the options

MY right side bar was sagging when I decided to lift it, so pretty much my right side is cranked to the max just to level it out with the left side.
My front tires look like this \ | and it pulls hard right!
