Hello I'm a noob and I need some help
I got a 02 blazer 4 door

Problem(1) over heating and replaced thermostat with new one
And still over heats , I traced the sounds leads to somewhere
Where the thermostat housing that metal bracket some where around there

Problem(2) 4x4 is isn't working the lights on the dash aren't lit up when started


I know I might be posting in the wrong section
I'm rather new here so pardon me

1: try back flushing your heater core. Inspect your radiator for damaged fins, check to see if the heat is fairly uniform throughout the radiator after it's been running

2: more info, please. Does the 4WD not actuate at all, or is it just the lights? Do you hear anything at all when you engage the 4WD?

Those bulbs in the 4wd switch burn out. Auto parts stores carry them. they just twist out the back. I had two out of the three burnt out on mine when I bought it.

As far as any other 4wd related problems, just do a search on here. The system has some problems, and there is a butt-load of threads on here about it!

I was wondering if this could be a gasket problem??
I flushed the heater core and still nothing
