Default No Brakes! 03 S-series

I recently picked up our 03 S-series 4x4,& have had only rear brakes. A friend an i recently discovered the former owner filled the system with power steering fluid. We changed the master, blew out the lines an now have fluild to the fronts, nothing at the rear an no brakes what so ever & am leaving on a trip this weekend! Any ideas whatbcould be wrong? Were at a loss

Most likely will just need to bleed the ABS module.

did you bench bleed the master cylinder before putting it on? that helps a bunch if you put a dry master on the truck it takes forever to start pushing fluid IF it ever does.

i keep hearing on this site and elsewhere about needing a tech2 to bleed the brakes but have never had to do that yet and have replaced everything on s10s and multiple other chevys plenty of times and never had to use one
