I say if you paint any part of it like you want to the recessed part (the inner outline) would be a really nice touch and look sharp!!

How about just painting the small line on it to match the color of the truck? Maybe sumthing kool with sum airbrushing??? Just a thought..

i could just have a decal cut to lay down in the recess, but i think paint would be the better way to go

What about model paints with a coat of clear over top to protect? That way if you mess up you can use airbrush thinner on it without damaging the bowtie.
