It was made to take care of business off the pavement, not on the pavement..........Regardless, how much were you looking to spend and how much work did you want to put into this?
mine is bone stock also and i dont really think these blazer's were really built for off road because my wife got stuck in our drive way but then again we live in bfe and on a farm and before anyone says anything about female driver this one can drive anything and she loves mudding in our 95 bronco with 44" tires and detroit lockers sometime she goes and pulls my friends out
but back to the topic i dont really want to spend a bunch of money on this thing is losses it value to much around were i live i was hoping there was some easy ways to get a little more bit out of the 4.3's

It sounds like it may need some service work, possibly a good tune up, mine in stock form will smolder the right rear tire. But I would recommend a good delco tune up, and a quality CAI and Muffler, that's all mine has now and it's plenty powerfull for a daily driver.
i havent done it yetso i cant say personally but a lot of people have good things to say about k&n replacement air filters, or a CAI but theyre more expensive. i plan to do one of those tho.
On my 95 4.3.i have inserted a long RAM air intake(clone),cleaned the fuel injectors, installed a dual exaust and of course high octane gaz and good platinium plugs.
I care to much for my truck + with my 30"tires , I never tried to put the gaz pedal in the carpet while holding the brake then release the brake while holding the Gaz ...then again,if I just floor it(did it 2-3 times when arguing with the wife), it burns right away..mean machine men!!!

You want rompin' power? You want to sling rubber 15 feet? You want to make the neighbors' chickens stop laying eggs? Easy...drop a big V8 into the Blazer!
Seriously, these trucks have a big V6 that was designed withan adequateamount of low-end torque for towing mid-weight trailers and such while carrying passengers and luggage. I mean they're only about 17 seconds in the 1/4 mile. There's not much you can do to the 4.3 without spending a ton of bucks that's going to show great big power gains.
Best advice - make sure the engine is tuned and running like Chevy built it to do and enjoy your Blazer.
