Default Passenger seat removal

Okay so I have a '99, and I got the seat itself out, torx and bolt (50 was perfect btw thanks everyone), but there's a cord under it and it's kinda thick. Now I would cut it off, except she's already struggling and also it kinda looks important. Is it like some form of power seat or can I just rip it out?

Is the front of the vehicle to the left in this this picture? If so, it appears that according to my 99 manual it is the "Seat Lumbar Support Motor Connector."

If I am correct, there would be a female 2-pin or 8-pin receptacle at the end of the wire that is tucked into the carpet on the far end (towards top of picture). Depending on the options, this receptacle supplies power to the heater and seat adjustment motors.

In the picture, im sitting in the driver seat and the top of the picture is the door, so yea engine is left.
I'm not very knowledge about cars so would this be considered an important item? It's not like I'm trying to lighten the car for anything pyschotic, i just kinda wanted to put a net or something to make the passenger space a little storage

I don't think you will gain much in terms of lightening the truck by cutting off 18" of wire. You might just tuck it under the carpet. As for it being important, I don't think it is since it appears to be for part of a seat that you are deleting.
