Default Are people stupid?

People on craigslist are absolutely stupid when it comes to pricing cars.

Ive been looking for blazers, and all i see $3,500 and up with over 130k miles.

Are people insane? if having a running motor means tripling the vehicles worth, i might just do the motor.

Btw, im still looking into loans for either another engine or a blazer, and at this rate, were looking at an engine.

just got some good news. I had contacted someone on craigs about an engine out of a 99. She said they replaced the head gaskets because they blew, and when they put it back in, it didnt run good. and she said the timing may be off or something. said she'd let the engine go for $150. Could it be the timinng or what? $150 sounds like a deal.

Yeah I had a hard time finding a vehicle when I was looking and I was looking for Yukons, Tahoes, Silveradoes and Blazers/Jimmys and people wanted $4k for ones that were rusting and or had higher miles. It was ridiculous, but I got really lucky with my Blazer and couldn't be happier with it. Is that engine still in the Blazer or did they pull it already? Receipts would be good of course, but hearing what its actually doing would be better probably

Yeah, that seems kinda crazy on the price. I would just see if I could get another engine.

maybe its the area. i been watching 1998 blazer and bravadas around here and been seeing the average price around 1500 and upwards of 3500 for low miles and nice, though rust probably plays a issue into it
