well after having my blazer for an amazing 2 years shes finally died... yesterday out of nowhere i get a misfire and engine knock, went outside today to find oil everywhere on the ground, topped my oil off cause i needed to get home, as soon as i started it bang blew something through the oilpan and not shes sitting at the shop, thinking about getting a new engine or maybe getting a new blazer, i just got my rims shipped to me like a week ago to wtf :*(

poke around c's list. you can pull a running 4.3 for like $300-$500... if you are savvy or have a pal who's savvy (and beer to supply) you could swap an engine in a weekend...
If you're not savvy, you can pay to play and score a new (used) engine dropped in for reasonable now that the economy sucks

Like Alex/Sisk said - I feel your pain, I have issues with mine & after all is said n done it MAY be a twisted crank = sh!tload of money to repair. I would upgrade/have it built because the engine is taken out, but still, it only has 60,000 miles on it, still a newb/just broken in engine lol.

prolly gonna start looking for an engine tomorrow i know i can get a new gm one with a 2yr warranty for $1600 but i could get a 240 for that
