Question Radiator Fitment Question

Anybody else ordered a radiator from Rock Auto? Specifically Vista Pro part number 432057?

Just got mine in the mail, and it doesn't fit! Instead of the radiator cap sitting at a 45* angle right on the tank like factory, they have it sitting flat, on a raised "neck". The hood doesn't come anywhere near closing. I measured, and it's a good 4" higher than the original.

I called, and she said there were only a handful of fitment complaints. They are still covering return shipping, though.

So I'm wondering, where are all these people that have extra clearance between their radiator and hood? Was there variation between years? I figured the body was pretty much the same for all second gens?

looks like you are going to need 432389 for 94.99. it looks pretty much the same in the picture but the filler for the radiator is at the 45 like all the other blazers out there.

i dont always trust the pictures, some times you just have to make a phone call to make sure. few minutes on the phone might save you some head ache and possible shipping charges.

Good luck.

Yeah, I already ordered that one. I checked the picture with the first one, but only to make sure it had both the oil and transmission cooler. Never thought about how the cap sat. I assumed (we all know what happens when. You do that!) that it would physically fit under the hood.

leave the hood off
sometimes they dont always tell the truth,
if they say they they have only had a hand full of issues instead off everyone that we have sold
the prior makes you feel better
