Default radio/Heating, AC control question

i got a 99 4x4 blazer, on my radio and on the heating controls some of the lights behind thebuttons on the radio and on the heating controls dont work when i have the head lights on, is there any way to fix this?

Check the fuses and also check for shorts in the wires!!

This is a common problem with GM radios and since the HVAC headunits use similar bulbs, reason holds that they would have a similar problem. You can buy new bulbs from Radioshack, however they require you to disassemble the radio and HVAC headunit, desolder the old bulbs and solder in the new bulbs.

You're kidding right? If some of the lights work and some dont, that would be burnt out bulbs.

this sounds like it can be a fun fix...so...im assuming that i need to take the dash apart right?
