Default A real #2 condition 04 Blazer,but...

Wow! I came across a true TX,AZ or CA 04 Blazer here in the town I live! I was so impressed by this units condition! Not even any seat or suspension bushing wear, did the ball joint test, compression test (#1 only:138psi) A/C works great as does the blend door control. Now I have extensive experience in seeing through a detailed car,and this one hasn't been, this is a very sweet unit in which all systems function as new. Trouble is this guy wants $8K! Unit has 112K on it with NO service records. This is for an 8 year old car! I told him I would go no more than wholesale @$4400 and he said...well you get the picture.
Would you pay $8K for an 8 year old blazer? I don't think I will but it still seems too good to pass up! Input welcome,as I don't see this unit moving real soon! Thanks. step66

Yeah some people think they can get that much out of their blazers... But i wouldnt pay over 6k for it. It has as many miles on it as my 97 did when i bought it 2 years ago.

Nice as it is, I'd pass it up. FWIW, I paid $8500 for my 2002... and that was in 2005 with 50K on it. You'll find another one.

... or let it hang around a while with no takers until he drops the price.

Yes guys,I agree its way too much, and I don't have that much to spend anyway. My 97 is still running and looking great with 187K. This one I paid $1500 2 years ago with 143K and even with needed upgrades and minor repairs,I still have less than $3000 in it and it has never failed me(yet).

Seems like a clean unit. But remember, if it seems to good to be true, it usually is. But then again, it might just be one clean rig that someone has taken care of. You never know with used cars. I just found a 75 Cadilaac Coupe DeVille for $5500 and it has 36,000 actual miles on it. Units real clean and everything. But why is it that clean for I wonder.

Out here in the West Blazer 4x4 are bringing top dollars. It is hard to find a clean Blazer any year. I see 97-99 Blazer 4x4 with 150,000+ miles going for $5900-$6500. It is crazy.
I just bought my 98 Blazer 4x4 LT for $3900 out the door & felt I got a good price. It has 115,000 miles & carfax was perfect. It is clean needed a few things on the interior plastic parts that break. I had a hub & bearing that needed replaced, Had a complete service done including A/C, fuel filter, trans service, & a plenum gasket & flush & new anti freeze. It had a new radiator, water pump (why some one dumped old dexcool then topped it with green I will never know) New fuel pump, tune up, A/C compressor, No leaks anywhere.
So $8000 out here is not a bad price. I see 04s for $8000-$10,000.
