Is this a real ZR2, or just a 2-door?

Default Is this a real ZR2, or just a 2-door?

Here is the craigslist ad of a 2 door blazer I am looking at. I am considering doing a trade for it.

2000 Chevy Blazer ZR2 2 DOOR TRULY MINT

Is it a real ZR2, it doesnt look like it to me, because it is missing the black fenders, but then I read somewhere that they weren't necessarily all black fender flared. I do not have physical access to the stickers in the engine compartment or glovebox, but taking a look at it, does it look like a ZR2 to you guys? Or just a 2 door? I dont want to pay extra for a ZR2, if it isnt actually.

It looks like a regular 2 door to me. In the last pic the rear axle doesnt look wide enough to be a ZR2. almost looks like it could be a 2WD axle with how narrow it is, but its probably just the picture.

those tires dont look like 31's either

That's not a ZR2. ZR2's have 2" lift and 31" tires and fender flares. lol

I agree, def not a ZR2, it`s a 2dr with oversized tires that prob rub in the fender wells.. The price don`t seem bad though..

Yeah, the consensus here is all the same. It isn't a BlaZeR2. The fender flares is the main point here. I don't think the common person is going to take the time to take the fender flares off. Plus they are sexy, so why take them off anyway.

I was gonna say you can tell by how low it sets that its not. The ZR2 sets higher than that stock. And wouldnt it be badged somewhere on the outside as a ZR2? Or did Chevy not put that on them?

Chevy did not "badge" ZR2's, the dealers did. That is not a ZR2, as may have been mentioned...lol

If you really want to embarrass the person trying to sell it, ask them to send you photos of the RPO codes in the glove compartmetn plus the inner fenders up front. Both will have "ZR2" on them.
