Default Rear Ended On The Highway [Pics Included]

I had just started a new job down in Houston after relocating from Wisconsin. The old blazer made the trek towing the 12ft trailer from uhaul.

One month after getting here I had just gotten off work and was on the highway at 9:30 AM (I work graveyard shift). The far right lane (lane three) had come to a stop so I slowly began to brake before coming to a complete stop. The other two lanes to the left of me at the time were open and had some traffic going.

I look in my rear view mirror to see a Pop-A-Lock car about .5 miles behind me, so I figured my brake lights are on and there are a large number of vehicles ahead of me. He was also at a higher level then me so it was very easy to see the stopped vehicles.
Next thing I know I check my rear view mirror to see the white Pop-A-Lock driver about 4 feet away from me at extreme speed.

I was struck at what the driver said "60 mph". When I was going 0 mph. He hit the rear driver's side corner. This then somehow caused me to do a "barrel roll" into the air. I blacked out from the initial hit so I do not remember the exact movements. But, I came "aware" upside down and the blazer facing back towards traffic.

I suck at story telling but I am sure you get the main point of what happened.

I will get to resizing the images so I can post them on here. In the mean time, they are at the url I gave before (only thing on that site is the actual images)

Update: Yes, I know my plate number is on there. The vehicle is registered to an address I don't live at anymore.

Got Damn! Glad your still here to tell the story. I used to manage an impound yard so I used to see lots of wrecks. Yours is pretty extreme. Go out and buy a lottery ticket!

Who cares if you suck at telling stories? Just be glad you're alive. Someone was watching over you that day.

I only had liability on it. I was hit by a company car though, so they will have to pay for everything. Updating the post with a Photobucket link.

I was able to actually get out of my blazer after it happened, slipped out the driver's side window. Amazingly I didn't break any bones. My back/neck has been hurting like hell though ever since the accident.

Wow your lucky to walk away. I've heard lots of those aches and pains that last your whole life. Hope that doesn't happen to you!
