Wow! That's insane, and that you walked away unhurt for the most part. Sorta reaffirms the fact that I didn't think the roofs were very reinforced on these things.
Did you get to speak to the person who hit you at all?

A good 'cut & buff" should get those scratches out. Amazing how the passenger side folded at the window.

Damn, Blazers really are safe trucks after all.

Ditto about the survival.

That is crazy stuff. Glad your ok. Seen wrecks with less damage turn out worse for the driver.

x2 on someone was watching out for you. Glad you're safe. Hopefully your back and neck get better, and that company doesn't act like jerks about the whole ordeal.

I was able to actually get out of my blazer after it happened, slipped out the driver's side window. Amazingly I didn't break any bones. My back/neck has been hurting like hell though ever since the accident.
Uhhh... that's to be expected. He hit you HARD. looks like you "barrel rolled" because he sort of scooped you up and flipped the truck over. I'd also sue the Driver for damages. He must have been distracted, that's the only thing that makes sense to me as to a reason why he wouldn't have stopped. Man, count your blessings lol, and I agree, go buy a lottery ticket.

. You made it out of THAT alive!? Wow...thats amazing man. Glad to hear you're ok for the most part...sucks about the truck. Man that is amazing that you weren't seriously crippled.
If that had on been me in the truck I can guarantee me head would have been smooshed. There's not much room in there after the roof was crushed. Being 6'5" I can't see myself making it out of that one alive. Hell, my head is kinda close to the roof as it is (grant it I do have a sunroof, which lowers the interior height)

Glad you are fine, the vehicle can be replaced. I hope the other guy had valid insurance. All other members of this forum in your area should hunt this idiot down and slap some sense into him. lol

I just noticed your comment Ken...
Blazers actually have a poor crash rating. I'm suprised at how well this one turned out to tell you the truth. The interior space held up fairly well given how bad these trucks are in accidents.
