So I just replaced the hydraulic arms on the liftgate but the rear hatch won't pop open when I hit the rear hatch button on the dash. I looked at the latch and nothing looks missing/broken any advice? 93 full size blazer.

 

Is it unlatching but not popping up? Wondering if the arms are strong enough...

 

They are. It just stopped one day when I was a kid. I replaced the hydraulic arms already with the recommended ones. I can unlock it with the key manually and it stays up but in the truck hitting the dash button it won't pop up and release. I can hear it running the motor and if someone is back ther pulling on it it will release.
