Mine didn't fit under the roof rack...

But my wires go in through my 3rd brake light

I never had the 3rd break light off. So there was enough room to run it through the 3rd break light wire hole? Also how did you seal the 3rd light?<> I'm sure it did not seat flat down after did it? Thanks for the tip.

It sat almost exactly the same as it did before I ran the wires...

I think I used 14 or 16 guage wire... They're only 55W lights.

I ran some sealant around the wires just in case... I haven't had any leaks yet.

There isn't MUCH room there.... But enough, lol.

Thanks for the tip. I have some new LED's coming in, and might mount 4 up there. I'll have to wait to see the LED's wire size be for i even think about running them. Which i think i can hook all 4 LED's together on the out side, and run one power wire to the box. I hope it works as that looks pretty clean cut to me. Although i think I'll mod the brackets to fit under(if i can, not a big deal).

LED's suck pretty much no power... So you can probably run 16 or even 18 guage for those things...

Well I'm not talking fog lights. I'm talking blue, and red emergency lights. The ones in my back glass or not to easy to see when driving up on it(led or strobe). The windows or dark, and mount top deal is a good idea.

I sure hope you're legally allowed to use those! lol

14 guage will work great for that... Beefy enough that a car wash won't kill it, and small enough that you can hide it fairly easilly.

I interested in know if anyone knows of lights that plug into the trailer hitch outlet so that the lights would go on when the car is in reverse?

Yep, they're known of...
Though, they're usually made for the 7 pin plug... I don't think the 4 pin has reverse lights wired in it.

http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/h...t=P1011516.jpg here are my add on reverse lights, I bought the set at pepboys, their designed to clamp onto a trailer hitch with brackets that they come with or mount them the way ya want them.. I have them spliced into the wires for my reg rev lights and have no problems with fuses blowing or any other problems..there should be a few diff pics of them ...
