My 1999 GMC Jimmys door panel is coming off the lip that is the main restraint for the panel (I believe). I believe that of I was able to disconnect the bottom (I am not sure how to do so), I'd be able to put the lip back on then reattach the bottom. I have not found a guide to remove the paneling. If anyone knows where to read on please post a link or write one if you don't mind.
P.S. I will post pictures (if you tell me how) to make my problem more clear.

inside or outside?
is the body cladding coming off, the rocker guards, or the plastic on the inside where your speaker lives and such?

if it's the inside, then there are 2 bolts and a screw (under arm rest and behind handle) that you remove. then just pull on it working around the edges and it will pop off. go slow, and you will have to twist a bit to get over the handle. you will also have to pop off the window contrals and such. that whole portion pops off.

either way, thee are little plastic tree looking screw shaped guys. take on to the part's store and get a pack of new ones.

*EDIT* crap it says outer in the damn title
those are held on with retainers that look like staples folded out instead of in. i know a plastic pannel removal tool will help not tear up the paint, but my only dealings with it were prying some off in a jy to see if they could be adapted. sorry
