REPLACING A VENT WINDOW
I am replacing the drivers side door vent window in my 1978 K5. Has anyone done this or have a link for instructions? I have gotten all the screws and bolts out I'm just not sure how to slide it out. It seems to be hung on the door. Any help would be great

The instructions aren't that clear so I copied them .
4.remove the screws which attatch the vent window lower assembly to the door panel.
5. loosen the inner and outer panel screws which are accessible through the hole to the rear of the lower vent pivot.
6. slide the main glass to the rear, away from the vent window.
7. turn the comlete assembly 90 degrees and guide it up and out of the door.

i loved the vent windows from old school cars, i wish they never got rid of them.

RE: REPLACING A VENT WINDOW
I liked their function, but not the asthetics of them. I'm glad my Chevelle doesn't have them!
