djdrew010 - I don't quite know the LHD setup but yes the radio & climate control section does face the driver at a slight but comfortable angle.
By the way, the radio you see is Jap spec & needs a band expander to operate in New Zealand. I understand the same applies to vehicles imported from the USA. This is planned for future replacement.
onimun - I feel the 4x4 switch is in just the right place. Your switch is on the left at the door pillar I think. If the dash had simply been reversed for RHD I think itmight be awkward - but then I'm a lefty.

The 4x4 switch is beside the middle dash vents above where your switch is located on a LHD. Also Could you post a pic of the engine. I would like to see the difference between RHD and LHD setups. That dash seems bass ackwards having never really seen a RHD blazer before.
