RIP Nevada Gold.
It took two days but I was finally able to find a phone number for the owner of the truck that caused the accident. Fortunately the guy does have insurance so now I'm just waiting on the insurance adjuster to find out just what are they going to do.
I would like to find another Blazer similar to mine or perhaps an S10 truck. I'm still thinking about an S10 Baja on craigslist down here.

UPDATE: So I've meet with the adjuster and to my suprise he's a Blazer guy! He recognized my Blazer for what it was plus the fact that it came with every option for for 1989 he offered me $3,195.00!! Here's the break down: 3195.00 minus 400 for buying the blazer back plus 370 for the towing and storage leaving me with 3165 to work with. Right of the top 370 goes back to my dad for putting up the 370 to get my Blazer out of the tow yard leaving me with 2795.
So my new ride is going to be a 1989 extended cab S10 Baja! I'll be buying it for $800.00 it still has the original light bar on the front plus all skid plates, new tires, rebuilt tranny 700r4. It does have a bad motor but I don't care i'll be swapping mine from my Blazer plus all of the other new parts. I may even attempt to swap out the digital dash. The tires are 30x9.50x15, brand new but just a tad too big will most likely rub. I'm selling them to a friend for $100.00 a piece so my initial price will be going down by half! Not to bad.
So before anybody calls me out and points out the obvious "Blazer Forum" and my new ride is not a Blazer well my moms ride is still a 2000 4 door Blazer ls. I simply decided that I wanted an extended cab pickup that would serve my needs more so than a Blazer. Mostly I'm lazy and I was getting tired of having to put down the rear seat and lay a tarp down to protect the interior from grease and oil. Still an S10 Baja was just too good to pass up! Still having problems with pics so I'll post them in my profile again.

UPDATE: I finally got the settlement for my blazer and promptly put it in the bank only yo be informed that it takes seven business days for the check to clear. My dad then decided to help me out a little more and paid for the truck and the trailer we towed it home on. He's not too worried since he'll get his money back by the end of the week when the check clears.
So far the I've noticed that the rear driveshaft goes through a carrier bearing. Nice feature to have don't know if it's original equipment of not but I'm glad it's there. Another feature is the oil cooler lines going to the radiator, again looks to be factory and I'm glad it's there but I've never seen that on any S10 blazer or Truck before. The hitch looks home made, not too bad of a job on the welding but it only looks to be about class two so I will be taking the hitch off of the blazer and installing it onto the baja, besides it looks more substantial and would be fun to install.
The digital dash takes a different harness and it's not worth taking the whole dash out just to replace the harness so I can still run the digital display. I'll be posting it for sale soon or pm me if interested.
The paint is chipped and peeling, rust in several places typical for a farm truck which happens to be where I got it from. Lot's of work to do.
