I want to purchase a haynes, or preferable chiltons service manual. In looking at them it seems that my 1994 GMC S15 Jimmy is on the cusp of transition years. Both manuals, on the cover stop at 93 and start at 95. i don't want to purchase one or the other if it is going to be a guess of what I am trying to fix.

If you have a 1994 GMC Jimmy Model and use the services manuals, which one do you suggest?

You are much better off trying to purchase a copy of the GM Service Manual for your year.

For simple mechanical repairs, the Haynes/Chilton ones are OK if limited.
