you can do that.... just pop the whole bumper off and paint the whole thing...

you should use a plastic paint (krylon fusion style) over the plastic as a primer so the bedliner or what ever paint will stick to it. no sanding needed, just hit it with your prep chemical of choice and prime.

if you want to seperate the parts you will be able to take the valance off, but will probably break the impact strip

Alright, cool, and what about the metal? Sand that? Or just clean it good?

clean and scuff.
then prep surface with thinner.
then knock yourself out (either etching primer--> paint, or Paint)

cleaned it pretty good and brought it in my house for the night, ill go out in the morning, and make sure its still nice n clean, and start blasting it.

I also used cameo on the chrome, seemed to help. But i'll just make sure the bedliner is on the chrome nice and thick, and i did buy the krylon fusion for the plastic piece to prime it.

no... those are called badges 'round here... anyway the rockers are the bottom part of the body panels. the part that comes up to the line on the bottom half of the doors. the badges sit about 2/3rds of the way up...

It was a joke since warthogdriver and I were doing a lot of the same mods at the same time before, and now your front end looks like what mine is supposed to

glad you like it. its always good when something you want to do comes out the way you wanted it too
