Figured I might as well tinker with it!

New halo color! Yay!

Very nice. It was white/yellow before was it not?

Yeah, a very dim, white light from the halo.

The LED's themselves are pretty bright, but they just weren't big enough, I guess... They're like 1/2 to 1/4 the size of the loose LED's I replaced them with.

edit:

After looking at the LED's while they're on (ouch! bright!) the original LED's appear to be 1/2 as bright, or less, as well, lol.

I might have to rig up something to change the LED's easier, if the police don't like them....

I ordered some different color LED's...

White and green...

Pure blue isn't the best idea... If I got talked to by the police for non-flashing license plate lights on the back of my truck... I'm sure I'll have issues with these on the front

Especially since they flash! lol

Yeah they finally got you for those LED's on the rear plate. Darn! It looks so sweet, but I pulled mine out too and put the white ones back in, and then the next 2 days I had 2 cops following close behind me at night, so I was glad I took the blue LED's out.

I had cops follow me before, but they never did anything about them... I guess since I wasn't driving like an idiot they were being nice... And they could easilly see my plate, lol.

I was warned about 'em going through a check stop, and was like "I'll change them as soon as I get home, I've got the originals in the glove box, just in case."

Yeah I had the originals in the glove box too. Ready to pull them out and just say I was experimenting with a different type of bulb.
