stalling 03 blazer
Hey everyone! I'm new to the blazer forum. I have an 03 blazer 4.3L with 162k and I tried recently to go on a little road trip vaca with the wife but once we hit the freeway and got up to 60 on a hill the blazer started bogging down and we had to pull over to a gas station. When i tried to give it gas it bogged down and stalled out. I just replaced the spider injector and now I smell gas and instead of stalling out when I give it gas it does the opposite. Sounds like there is a clanking sound now that I haven't heard before?

1) Confirm fuel pump activation. (If the pump runs when the ignition is initially turned to the RUN position, or bypassing the relay, move on to step 2.) At the fuel pump module electrical connector: The gray wire must show battery voltage when the fuel pump relay is activated. The black ground wire must show less than 5 ohms resistance to chassis ground. Checking these may require dropping the fuel tank to gain access to the connector on the fuel pump module.
2) Make sure the fuel filter is not clogged or restricted.
3) Check for and repair any kinks, restrictions, or external fuel leaks in the 3/8” fuel pressure line, and the 5/16” fuel return line between the fuel pump module and the connections at the fuel metering block.
4) Connect the fuel pressure tester to the service port in the 3/8” steel fuel pressure line located at the rear of the plenum, near the distributor. Activate the fuel pump and check for leaks at the service port connection, repair if/as necessary. Here’s a link to an adequate fuel pressure tester: https://actron.com/content/fuel-pressure-tester-kit it’s not “professional grade” test equipment, but for occasional DIY use, it should be fine.

The 4 things that you posted, are quoted from the link that I included in post #2. I wrote the article to help members diagnose the fuel delivery system on their vehicle. Post the 4 readings that you took on your vehicle, and post them here so we can analyze them.

No. Click on this link, and follow the instructions: https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...eakdown-88305/ Then post all 4 pressure readings.
