Default Still feel like I知 losing power going uphill

I have a 92 blazer 4x4 just had my tranny rebuilt. on the freeway my check engine light came on. this is the first time that this has happened. it痴 shifting much better but it lost some power today as I went uphill please help me

Have you checked to see what code is stored in the computer that's making the check engine light come on? If you don't have a scanner, some auto parts stores will scan it for free. That would give you a clue where to start checking.

Agreed

Sounds almost like a clogged cat converter. If it's original from 92, I wouldn't doubt it at all.

I finally realized it when I tried to pass someone on a 2 lane road, stomped on the gas, the RPM's jumped up when it down shifted, and I actually started slowing down instead of speeding up lol
