I kind of did it, i drove around for a month and a half without a muffler on it, i just cut it off after the ehaust flange, its sounds alright but it gets to be annoying after a while...

i was running straight pipe, but then I got sick of it and toned it down with a dual chamber resonator. sounds much better with the resonator IMO.

My buddy has straight pipes on his Z71 Silverado and it sounds awesome. You can turn the radio up and barely if at all hear it unless your on the gas hard. Thats whay I was curious what it would sound like on the 4.3L.

Does anyone have any sound clips outside and inside the cabin?
