Lol, I got ya, Yeah she must have been haulin'!

 

I turn 20 and have never had tickets either. I am way safer at driving than anyone else I know. I know not all teen drivers are bad but I know a lot that just plan suck or don't care when they drive and have many tickets and or accidents. I had one accident, where I was stopped at a red light and got rearended by a car doing 25mph, that sucked, lucjily noone was hurt.

Don't blame this on her being a stupid teen driver, blame this on her being a stupid Jetta driver. You can't generalize about all teen drivers based on one accident, no matter how bad it was. I'm not defending this girl; she was wrong. I'm defending myself as a teen driver. I also would like to extend my condolences to your family and hope everything turns out all right.
Another thing, "little fart can civic" is the best line I've read in a while.

 

I'm okay with generalizing it as a teen girl incident... I'm tired if it being only guys that cause problems on the road :P

right on brent! i was hopin s/o wouldve taken up for us, i was definatly getting ready to! id rather drive than ride with most of my friends anyway cuz im a way better driver than most, and i dont have any tickets either. *knock on wood*

 

All teen drivers are the best drivers on the road...lol C'mon guys...I know you couldn't have told me I was a bad driver when I was 17, but time teaches you how "stupid" you really are as a teen. It doesn't matter what it is, the more you do something the better you get at doing it, so let's just say unexperienced teens instead of "stupid teens" I'm glad the camper was replaced Aaron, that would suck to have it repaired being that new.

 

oh everyone has the possibility to cause and accident....they are accidents....I drive a million times better now then I did in my teens...and I had the accident record to prove it....but I would have to say the biggest influence on my great driving skills....is the fact I drive a 12,000lb ambulance 14 hours a day......specially with the possibility of going to prison if I have an accident....my fault or otherwise.....makes ya think twice....besides..if everyone just slowed down a little...i.e. more time to get places..it wouldn't be such a big deal...

 

of course you are all right, but my point is that you cant generalize because for every bad teen driver there is at least one bad older driver.

 

definatly. i get pissed at plenty of older drivers for not paying attention, i saw a guy in his 50s probably talkin on a damn cell phone the other day. (thats one of my pet peves)
