I'd just like to say thanks to all you who contribute here...especially the DIY how-to's. THe pictorial I found here about replacing my front wheel bearing assemblies on my 2001 Blazer 4WD was a HUGE help. With those tips, I picked up the 18mm wrench & 36mm socket before I had the vehicle on jack stands. Start to finish, the job took me 5 hours for both wheels...fixed the problem....and, at $370 (2 wheel bearings, 2 new rotors, tools & brake pads)...I likely saved $500 by doing it myself.
