You guys think it is possible to add a third row seat in a 97 jimmy four door. I also thought about one of those fold down seats out of a extended cab s-10. My kids are getting bigger and I cant afford to buy another vehicle at this point. Have anyone seen it done. Is it possibe. Any input would be appreciated.

I don't think so. If you install a third seat you would have to make floor pans to put your feet. If you mount the seat on top of the floorboard that is allready there, then you would not have any head room.

well...You have to think about where your going to mount seat belts too for it to be legal, not only seating.

there was another post on the third seating...a guy was traveling around thanksgiving and wanted too... dont do it unless your going to very securley attatch it to the floor.....like the regular backseats are.. also the seat belts might be pretty tricky. try to call a garage and explain that to them and see what happens.....best of luck
