Too good to be true?

How do you plan on using the truck? I worry when people want to use 36" tires on the stock axles. If driven very well, they can last, but if you plan to test the truck's limits, the axles likely won't hold up.

For now just drive around with little trail and mud use until I can swap for larger axles. I mean the street tires for it are 33"s so it won't be too rough on it. I'm not even sure if the owner has swapped the axles already either. I not completly sure if I'm getting it, I have to go and see it first before I make up my mind.

Take pictures and post them up. That way we can see what's going on and be able to better help you make a decision.
CLICK HERE for the pictures that the previous owner of my K5 took before I bought the truck. I requested many of the detailed shots to assess the condition of the body prior to any trip to actually see it in person. This was due to the distance between us (Finger Lakes to NYC). I think the F/S thread has since been purged, but it would have been nice to keep around because of the questions asked.

So got a call from the owner today, he has one of his friends buying it. Had a good talk about the rust and seems I wouldn't have bought her anyway, had almost no more bodymounts, frame nearly shot, and needed new brake and fuel lines. Good thing I have a backup truck picked out, 86 k10 here I come.
