Wow, you'll have to mod something, your GM tow hitch acts as the bumper brackets, so I'm thinking longer bolts and some rubber bushings that are the right size would work, you'd just have your hitch sticking out like a sore thumb.

Can you post some pictures showing how the relocating brackets mount? Maybe then you'll get some answers, I'd get a feel for your problem too.

If you don't have the tools/ability to do some fairly serious modding you can always get the bumper brackets from your local junkyard and get a bolt on receiver. Much easier this way as I've never heard of anyone who has modded the bumper/receiver brackets before.

I'm thinking putting the bumper up on some sort of spacers, like 2in worth of hockey pucks lol. BUT the hitch would stick out like a sore thumb, AJBert's idea may be better.

Most BL kits say somewhere it pretty much renders the factory tow packages and bumpers useless.

It might be able to made to work but I'd have to see it before I make any suggestions short of ditching the factory and getting something that bolts to the frame.

I have a reese hitch that bolts to the frame but it also before the lift had the bumper attached as well. Its not wide enough to put on the outside of the new relocating brackets for the bumper. I am going to try and get some pictures this weekend i go to work when its dark and get home when its dark so its hard to get pics. Plus im in the middle of getting a new rear end so im more concerened about getting it running again. Thanks for the help.
