Arrow Trailblazer

Decided the 2door ZR-2 is not enough anymore. I need 4 door 3rd row seating. I got my son, girlfriend and her two daughters, plus my mom on occasion.

I want either Trailblazer or Envoy, nice to have DVD player, wish it was the Trailblazer SS package. Hate running boards, and wish it sat higher for my Winnipeg Winters ahead.

Color I like the GM Blue or boring grey.. hate the colored trim I've seen on some models.

Anyone here own one? any tips or insight I could use before buying I would greatly appreciate it... thank you!!!

My brother has the wiener dog version of the Trailblazer (the extended version). He quite likes it, and has put almost 200,000Kms on it. They are nice trucks, but just be aware that if you have any aspirations of a lift kit that they're not easy on those trucks. Certainly possible, but not easy. There's tons of information on Trailvoy.com if you want to do more reading about the Envoy/Trailblazer platform.

i recently did a front differential in one, what a goofy set up they have where the diff literally runs through the oil pan, so you have to drop the oil pan to change it.

so basically get under there and check your differential fluid, you dont wanna change that diff

other then that and stuff that fails on all cars/trucks the engines and transmissions seem to hold up pretty good. only seen one trans failure and it had 200k on it

Trailvoy is a dead forum. gmtnation.com is where all the knowledgeable people from there went.

I swapped my front diff without dropping the oil pan, but it is an odd setup.

I drive this Trailblazer and love it
