Will a 2000 blazer tranny and 96 blazer tranny interchange, can I put my 96 blazer tranny in my 2000 blazer???

 

I was pretty sure they both are 4L60's and therefore should be interchangeable. Decided to google to double check and ended up back on this forum lol. This might be helpful. Isn't 100% but there was one guy doing the swap and had the transmission bolted in.
