VIDEO: front driveshaft screwed ?
Hey guys
having some vibration and weird things going on.
Noticed that this joint is a little funny. I’ve never seen this type of joint on a driveshaft. I’m able to move it up and down right where the connection is.
Check the video. I already ordered a new one I just want to make sure it’s actually the issue. I was going to tackle this today but I can’t remove my manifold bolts lol so I gave up

yes, but a bit at loss.
Don't know this type of joint so can't really tell.
Anything with that much clearance would rise my suspicion. What I would be concerned about is the "why" do i have that much clearance and how does the splined shaft look. That should have no clearance.
The radial clearance would concern me more than the axial. Also check the shaft from the transfer case once the driveshaft is off.
Hope you got your bolts off in the meantime.
