Ways to take the top off a K5?
Hey, I was just wondering if people know a good way to take the top off a K5 blazer with one person? I was thinking somthing like lifting it on your back and walking it off , But the walking off part would be awkward. I figured someone along the line had to of figured somthing out. Anyways, any ideas appreciated. Just dont want to rely on my mom and my neighbour to help me with it!

By yourself, I would try to build something to hoist it off with. I plan on building a roll around cart to put my top onto. To get the top off, I plan on using the roof rack that is already on mine. It is made out of 1x1 square tubing and is quite secure to the top. I will use it to hoist the top off inside my garage then lower it down to the ground and set it on the cart.

with my 86, slide it back as far as you can, with the tailgate down, carefully slide it on the tailgate and just keep pulling it off until its down.

My roomie pulls up to his with the forklift at work and picks it up. i think it counts cause no one else helps >.<
Other wise I think it would take a few of us, as we don't have a garage to build a hoist in to.

Roof removal
I'm having a slight problem removing the roof on my '89 Blazer. Just bought used. I don't think it's ever been off the truck. Pulled out all the bolts, but it seems stuck on the back end. Any hints??

Pull back the trim and remove the last two bolts (one on each side) that go up from the bottom.
