Id like to say sorry beforehand if this has already been answered but i cannot find a specific answer to my question as of yet.

I own a 1983 chevy blazer k5 full size which has a roll bar in the rear end and im interested in installing a soft top but dont feel like spending a grand. Now ive seen other owners that have purchased a jeep bikini top and worked it into the pre existing shell bolts and then strapped it over their roll bar and just tied down the back ends but have yet been able to find out how they did it and how much modification their would be.

So what im asking is should i buy a bikini top for about 100 and work it on or just go around to the local fabric shops and pay over 100?

And if the bikini top, how do you install it?
