Default Well guys, .... blazers dead.

driving to orlando for a show, a route the blazers been many times.... less than a mile away from the venue.... Boom.... hear a loud pop, and see smoke go everywhere, pull off to the side, oil pouring like a mad man, super loud knock.... man, im back in daytona now while my blazers in orlando for the night. have to figure out a way to get it home tomorrow.

Ill have a video of the carnage posted tomorrow.

aww thats not good. Had a lt1 camaro do that too me..I was speeding up to get on the interstate and boom,smoke,knocking. I got the worse stomach feeling in the world.

Sounds like maybe an oil cooler line or a defective oil filter ruptured. Do you use Fram? I remember reading about them having a recall because the seam was giving way on their oil filters. Hopefully you got it shut down before any serious internal engine damage was done.

U haul wont let me puul my blazer with a 99 cherokee! what bs....

Dont tell them what your pulling and just drive nice and slow to be safe. I think you will get her back okay.

@ verno.... I swear your truck looks like the one that was in 4wheel&offroad magazine a while back. They did a solid axle swap with a jeep suspension or something or another....Ill try to find it...
