I had the best luck with the 1997 Blazer 4x4. the 1998 we have is a POS.

yeah, there seems to be a few 97's around. I just may look into one. found a zr2 2003 apparently needs 4x4 actuator motor and only has 160,000 km. $2000

probably be gone by the time I scrape the $$ together in the the next couple weeks though

Don't spend any more that $2500 for a Blazer. Last I looked around there are a pile of them on the island. Another cheap option is Vancouver, I've seen decent ones for $1000 because they couldn't pass AirCare.

i know its old thread but i have to say I have the 1995 highest hp of all the blazers stock and still running strong at almost 200k miles . the 4wd is the worse design with the plunger valve that always fails or ripps. but other than that i love the 1995 blazer!!!!

I say its a 04 Trailblazer.

93 is the best year s10 i ever owned, bought mine in 06 i think and havent replaced anything on the motor. though its only a offroad truck and sees 5-10 miles per year but it gets beat down and parked
