Joining this forum may have been a mistake. Although the technical info has been valuable, I'm afraid the mod bug may strike me as well. I'm too old to drive a cool vehicle (and too young to be one of those white haired guys in a fancy convertible)

But this factory paint job may not make it through the summer. LEDs have already started appearing in various places, blue HIDs might show up soon as well. Decent tires would be wasted on me, since 99% of my driving is on dry, paved roads. But damn those look good!

I installed a new starter and put the spark plug wires on the distributor in the right order.

Filled the gas tank and had fun fish-tailing on the fresh snow...Then learned that 4wd is an amazing feature.

The 2 door: Had to recover from pushing it into the garage (I bought it cheap with a seized up engine)... it turned out to be much heavier than I thought it would be! Later, I assessed what the previous dumb-dum did to it to try to get the engine out...unbolted the exhaust manifolds but left them on the Y-pipe? C'mon!
The 4 door: Started pulling out the dashboard (I paid half as much as the 2-door, with a bad heater core).
