Default What did your Blazer do today?

I'll start this off I got a call about 4:30 from my buddy asking me if i was still down for going to a local mudpit.
I've been through the entire trail multiple times at its worst the mud sinks about 4 feet.

But since i had a little encounter last Saturday when i shot some grass up under my undercarriage and the grass caught on fire and from then on my 4x4 has not been working.

My little 00' Zr2 sittin' on 31" bfg at ko's was chuggin along through this mud,

UNTIL

I hit a little drop about 3 feet and this happened:

took me about 2 hours and a buddys Z71 to yank me out.
Only thing messed up was the front tow hook, to my knowledge.

not sure what transfer case you have but most generaly they run on the right side of the truck underneath, the vent tube should be tied to your transmission dipstick. the vac lines run back to the transfercase, they sould be on top or close to the top. they should attach to a vaccum switch on the case.

While were on the underside of the truck topic,
Is it better to keep the skid plates on?

another thing to check would be is there is a sensor on the front diff. about in the middle of the axle. mine came off when i was playing in the mud too and my 4wd didn't work. plugged it back in and now it works fine. it was only popped out probably like a 1/8 of an inch. so even if it doesn't look like it, push it down and see if that tab clicks

Quickest thread hijack I've ever seen. 1st reply haha.

I guess to get back on track.... My Blazer drove me to school, to my girlfriends, home, back to girlfriends, to a gas station, and home. On the way home from the gas station though, no one was around as I was approaching a traffic circle, I had to go straight so I decided, instead of going with the circle, it would be more fun to just go straight through it over the median thing, I was right. It was pretty fun

Well I lost my phone and "somehow" my Blazer managed to bust the interior door panel while I was shutting the door Other than that, drove me everywhere I needed to without a problem. And the Service 4x light comes on after about 5 min whether I'm driving or it sits and runs. Typical Blazer
