Took her off the pavement to find leeks. Found some good ones for potato and leek soup. First spot the wife had to run in with the dog as the trail was closed, that's where we found these.

But second spot was a flop, old abandoned property, great scenery for the hike, but couldn't take the blazer in. Took a pic where I had to park tho.

They are actually only 30.5 lol. I am planning on running 31s when I find a pair. They are stock size from before my lift lol. Tires just wont die so have been running them for 3 years now

I had to really, really get on it (speed like top speed) to get to work on time today. So, nice little de-carboning there. ITU...

If the Subaru seller flakes out, I'm keeping it.

30.5" tires? I have not heard of these. Do you have any more specs on them?

I would be interested in that, as well.

Christine, was it you (years ago post I believe) that said you chose 30" over 31" due to rub on factory height with no lift?

Yea sorry they are the 235/75r15 Goodyear wrangler duratrac, they are the stock size tire, but as they have the aggressive threads, they measure out to around 30 inch new. Thru me off when I got them because they rubbed and I had to tighten my torsion bars lol

Yep, that was me. But it was after I did the lift described in a link in my (small) build thread that I had the shop mount and install both 30x9.5R15 and 31x10.5R15 and the 31's rubbed the frame rail when the steering wheel was full over. (I'm sure this is more to do with the width than the height of course.)

Also, with my running boards I figured I had an additional clearance problem with interference at the rear-end of the fender well. I suppose I could install spacers on the front that would help but then I'd likely find myself needing/wanting to install the fender flares I have which would add yet another item to my To-Do list. LOL But I'll cross that bridge when these tires wear out.

BTW, I later worked out that the 31s would further reduce my effective axle ratios so I came to terms with running the 30s instead of the 31s.

oh just on the backside of a tiny little 1, 400 mile jaunt, I became my own Amazon Prime delivery driver thanks to N. Jensen for the interior door panels. shout out Iowa is beautiful! my baby is running like a top I was really kind of amazed. 17. 9 to 18. 1 MPG average and that's with a O2 sensor light code thrown, and Iowa's Rolling Hills that took my mileage from 38 to 11 LOL nothing like a 22-hour flip to get the head clear. somewhere your side of the Illinois line and Counting on my way back to the Oldsmobile capital of the world. but chilling at a rest stop not moving in texting lol
