I replaced the front stock black grille with a white one i got from the junkyard to match the truck, then replaced the blinkers to clear ones. Makes a world of difference in appearance now. Will post a pic when I take one.

There was an interesting noise (has happened when this cold since we got it) when first starting for about a second that literally sounded like the truck was saying a high pitched "nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo"

Then after that went away, There was a nice high pitched child scream that was coming from the front (I am guessing tension pulley) That one was actually new. But, when its this cold, you can expect things to make noises that you normally would not hear.

Dont even get me started on leather seats when it is this cold. felt like I was sitting on a seat made of ice cream.

Turn the heated seats on then. Warm bum in seconds. lol

This is a first gen, no heated seats, just leather and power

So... plastic tank on the passenger side of the radiator decided to crack.. Thanks obama.

Just ordered a radiator from Amazon, 65 bucks shipped, 3-5 day ship time, will just have to watch the coolant level until it comes, My buddy has a heated garage he said I could use
I ordered the radiator without the engine oil cooler, since I dont have that anymore. So the bay will be cleaned up even more on the drivers side. I should spray the tranny cooler lines tomorrow with some pb blaster so they are ready to go...

I haven't done anything on mine. Do have a weird sway clunk when backing up on the front and I hope it's not one of the lower control arms on it I already did the bushings on top

I feel you on the leather seats, Rich. We haven't dipped into the low teens yet, save for windchill, but the heated seats are on my list of things to pull come spring time. And definitely spray your cooler lines... I doused mine the night before with PB and I still had to remove the oil cooler lines at the filter, and put the old rad on the floor just to ream them off. Of course, some idjit before did the brake lines and ran the new line between the cooler lines which didn't help much at all.

I'm still waiting for some nicer weather to do the tstat and ect sensor. Just give me something +10... please? Saturday is looking like +40. Git er done!

I luckily will only have to worry about the tranny cooler lines, thankful for that, Deleting the remote filter was my best decision ever.

Yep- sign of the times. Quality goes WAY down, and prices keep going up ....

Our new oil pump sounds like cards in bicycle spokes when it's first lit off in the cold. That was as strange one ....
