what have you gotten done on your blazer today?
Lights are set back a bit, need to order a new switch back module, note to self, I need a new soldering iron, this one is a component burner, have not had a problem until now.
also, if you use a cheap soldering iron without temp control, dont solder when drunk.
I would have had them done today, if it was not for this.
oh well. live and learn.

Haven't done too much on my truck lately. Basically due to another project that I recently picked up.

Sadly the 11th of this month the engine in my 95 siezed up after driving to Arlington TX. It was on its last legs so no big surprise. Will miss her. Had to junk her there. Used the cash to pick up a Dodge Dakota. But not before taking the mirrors and headlights off. Couldn't get away with the tires though. Could have used them on the Dakota. Gonna sell the mirrors and headlights

Replaced the left rear wheel cylinder on my 89 GMC S15 Jimmy. The only difficulty was getting the retaining clip installed for the replacement wheel cylinder. I ended up using a hole saw that fit around the wheel cylinder and the retaining clip. Held the wheel cylinder in place with on hand and seated the clip with the hole saw. The whole saw worked perfectly to press the clip in. The next thing was reassembling the rear drum brakes which is always a little bit of pain to get everything it the right place and position. Keeping the right side intact and the drum off was a good reference whenever I needed to check the position of everything.

We just replaced the driver window and motor. Got everything working and then the battery was dead. Charged battery....it turns over but won't start.
It was in an accident and rolled over. But we were able to drive it home.
Won't start now.
Is there some kind of safety shut off?

Truck is about 50lbs heavier thanks to all the ice and frozen snow on it. the roads are the worst that state patrol has seen in 25 years. which is saying a lot considering this is MN. But when you pair over a foot of snow with 50mph winds, sitting that on top of rain and sleet that fell before it.
