what have you gotten done on your blazer today?
At a friends shop getting the lower intake gaskets and the valve cover gaskets done. I would do it myself but I have absolutely no time. Next I have to get a new battery to little bit about it work and find some new body mounts. I don't want to spend $300 on hunks of rubber.
Had to do pins and bushings on a '95 S10 pickup a few days ago. Most worn out hinges I have EVER seen in my life! The holes were worn so big, the new bushings would just pass straight through without even touching! Had to weld the holes back to where they looked to be straight, and re-drill them. Also had to weld in the door striker, and install a new (used) door latch.
Thing had some sweet wheels on it. Best I've ever seen for OEM.

ended up staying with r12 freon and had just enough! good and cold.
I just need to figure out whats causing my issue with the vents. Ive only got floor settings. No defrost with it,so thats the odd thing. its usually both when it goes to its default locations when it has issues.
Im thinking its the selector switch. Ive got good lines coming from the intake, and good vacuum. Itll even switch to defrost if i set it to it. Just no center.

I'm not a mechanic/welder at all. However, I think if you got a properly sized brake line/steel or aluminum (maybe even copper) tubing and bent it to shape with the special tool and then brazed it into the manifold, maybe? Otherwise, junkyard.

Last month I finished up the A/C restoration in our '93 Volvo 940. Went R12 in that too. Thing will freeze you out! It gets uncomfortable after a while, and I have to aim the vents away from me. Blows in the low 40's on a 90° hot, sticky day.
I did our '86 Grand Marquis last year. That one got a full restoration - everything from the cabin to the grille was replaced with new. R12 in that one too. That thing blows mid 30's out the vents! Even colder than the Volvo. It's crazy the temp change when you've been driving a while, and you get out of the car. Like stepping into a greenhouse.

So I got myself a 2005 Jimmy ZR2 , I replaced ball joints , tierods , idler and pitman , both CV axles and Hubs and rear brakes.... I just dropped it off for an alignment and coolant flush ....now just rear diff fluid and check the axle bearings.....my old 05 jimmy non Z was involved in an accident and written off , I got the Z and after all the parts I'm only about $500 more than insurance gave me ......and I love my Z.

EGR Line $88 shipped from Rock Auto.
Doorman makes the NAPA part which NAPA sells for $187 Everywhere else it is Doorman and only in the $130 area. Rockauto has it at $81. So $100 less than NAPA.
Should have the blazer back on the road this coming week finally.
