You can check RockAuto or Truck Parts & Truck Accessories for Chevy, GMC, Ford & Dodge Trucks | LMCTruck.com or a local upull yard for the switch you are looking for.
I have not had to replace or trace down the wires for a horn on a first gen before so that is as far as I can get you with the help. I hope you figure it out.

All it really is, is a contact switch when the 2 points make connection the power is sent and the horn is activated.

I did get some miles on our 42000 mile Blazer... runs great and no leaks! Also, I washed it for the first time

I'm about 2/3 the way thru reading your build thread....I've gone thru the birth of your son; your wifes loss; your brothers passing and everything else. I popped over here just to check out this thread and find that your truck is gone? What? Why? I dont know how I feel right now. I dont know the circumstances but damn dude...

Investigated a brake squeak. Found what I sort of expected to, a pad worn down to the indicator tab...

One of the benefits of working in a salvage yard, although it's something I would NEVER advise using... used brake pads Since pulling the calipers like we do when the vehicle is dismantled doesn't require the pads getting lost since they typically stick to the brackets which stay on the Blazer, I managed to actually find a decent looking set. So I swapped them out... I'll be ordering some slotted rotors and ceramic pads soon anyhow, these will hold me over for a little while for sure. Cleaned up nice with a little sand paper.

Replaced drivers side door panel clips, replaced the plastic bushing for the widow crank on both doors. Replaced the center console hinge for the lid due to the hinge being cracked along the length. (I had a spare that I bought NOS on ebay some time ago) I used Plastex to repair a stripped plastic screw hole for the ashtray. (lower left screw).

This is on my 89 S15 Jimmy 2wd, 2dr, 4.3L Auto.

replaced new radiator with a new radiator (petcock got messed up so I went and traded my new one for another new one at no charge, but not before backflushing, and running it with distilled water and a prestone radiator flush for 400+ miles.) lol I can say with certainty 9.9% of the deathcool is gone. Next up, intake manifold not because I need to right now, but because I know it is not a matter of if, but when.

Ha ! I had mine towed 23 miles today ! I went to the salvage yard and got a replacement hood, for the hail/gravel damaged one, installed it and on the way home lost all power while doing a passing maneuver from 30 MPH. My lead foot hurt it I'm afraid ! Top end has to come apart for assessment now ! 201,404 miles
