I picked up a passenger side door panel at my local U-Pull it for 10 bucks and it was a version of red that I can live with. My existing door panel has damaged clip retainers on the inside of the panel and the upper lip where the weather strip is stapled to the door panel is cracked and is separated from the door panel.

I replaced the rubber lines on the remote filter and oil cooler.....I didn't have to jack up the engine to get the lines out....Is this because it's a Zr2 or did they route the lines differently on the later years?

Default Indicator Light

Ok, can anyone verify what this indicator light is? It looks like a choke to me but I don't know. If it is a choke light what is the recommended course of action? I've already cleaned the carb with carb cleaner and it didn't affect it. (The red line on the left is a reflection of course.)Name: IMG_9937.jpg

It is a choke light. fuse and wiring would be the first look.

I put on the new water pump.. found that screwing in a .96 cent 3/8 threaded rod into one of lower water pump bolt holes made it simple! just slide the pump onto the threaded rod and it make all the holes easy to find. Took me all of ten minutes to get the pump back on, torqued down and all of the new hoses on..

I am in the process of installing a G80 Gov. Lock Diff. Today I removed the existing carrier bearings off of the junkyard G80 as I will be installing new bearings.

The junkyard carrier is a series 3 where as my installed diff. is a series 2 with a 3:08 gear ratio. Which is not compatible with a series 3 carrier. My solution was to order a Motive 3:08 Ring and Gear assy. that is made for a series 3 carrier. I also ordered a installation kit.

stripped the roof, shaved the 3rd brake light, smoothed it out and put the first coat of fiberglass on
