the controller has 2 fan power wires so I used them as trigger wires on separate relays and put a master switch on the main power for the controller. I read that the draw from the intrepid fans is something like 70 amps so I got a pair of 80 amp relays just to be safe

Think my fuses are 40 amp on my intrepid fans.

Did find out why I was breaking the stock fans..broken motor mount on the passenger side. Upgraded to interlocking ones from Energy Suspension.

Found out that a case relearn can't be done when you have a P300 code. Started off chasing a misfire on #6 which became a general misfire after moving the #1 wire off of the header and fixing a couple vacuum leaks.

Got help removing the broken bolt from changing the valve cover gasket

Found the ignition coil was failing and the cap and rotor looked bad after 30k miles so replaced those..then the case relearn was done,

Truck runs much better now.

Got stuck behind another vehicle at the alignment shop.. The tech tore into a car on the alignment rack instead of moving so no alignments got done after 10:30 am.

I will get it done Monday just in time for my trip on Thursday which will include a run up the Morrison Jeep Trail in Wyoming.

Then you guys will have to deal with all the infotainment garbage and mandatory software updates and planned obsolescence.

Personally, I haven't done anything to it in a while. Just recently though my son changed out the ported vacuum switch that we are being told is no longer available. He ended up pulling one off of a parts 2wd Blazer which we bought some time back with no title. He also pulled the dash panel out of his '85 4wd S10 Blazer with intentions of switching the instrument cluster for the cluster out of the '85 2wd S10 Blazer so he'd have the tachometer. I'm not sure how feasible it is but he thinks he knows what he's doing. (Not that I doubt him... I just doubt it. lol)

Put a new backup light switch in the trans. DONT buy the one from NAPA, J-U-N-K

The electrical terminals are miserable quality. SM465 trans

Fixed the choke sticking and the ol girl fires up instantly and drives like new (well... old- new)

Swapped drivers side control arm for the right rough country arm... drivers side handles better... need to finish passenger side and idler arm.

and then driving home from the mechanics, this happened.... I swear she wants me to sell her...
