Sorry, my post was confusing... If I needed it, yes I'd make the drive. I was giving a heads-up in case somebody here wanted to contact the guy.

I find them when I go to the yard but shipping is a nightmare right now. I usually get them and use them to make tire carriers for the S10 trucks.

This is nice! And you can use the first-gen tire carriers too for your version.

Thanks Christine. I've never tried a first generation one but I don't see why it wouldn't work. The best part is it doesn't block your rear vision like the stock OEM ones does.

Got the piston back into the rear caliper, slapped it all back together and bled the brakes. All good to go again.

Those rear brake discs look an awful lot like the front jeep rotors I'm working with right now. Now I have to check them out a little closer!

I love that setup you have eshaw... I have been debating over and over on where I want 2 put my spare tire lol, I am definately done with it being under the truck like it was originally and I am tired of having it in the cargo area behind the back seats... I was thinking of maybe mounting it 2 the brush guard up front??? I debate and think 2 much it seems LOL...

For an off the shelf, i.e. expensive solution, there is this: https://wilcooffroad.com/shop/hitchgate-solo/

I decided to try for adding a 2dr tire carrier to mine but I haven't gotten around to it yet. If you have $1,000 laying around, this could be a good solution.

Replaced one of my rear speakers and greased up the plastic molding before snapping it back in. First time in years no squeaking from there.
Nice.. but strangely silent.
