you're not the first to suggest that, but the shipping would be a real bitch-it weighs in @ 128 lbs!

and i still haven't taken my "W.I.B." off yet. not really sure if i'm being lazy, or just waiting to do a little mod to it.................

as for me, i'm getting better fuel economy from my Blazer.

my last 2 tanks of fuel have been going farther-and now it's not because my truck was being towed!

got 17.4mpg on my last tank (added a bottle of Lucas fuel system cleaner). tank before that got 16.1mpg.

a hell of an improvement over the "best-of" 14.5mpg i've ever gotten since i've owned it.

Ah... it looked like it had some sort of landscape on it... but I couldn't tell.

Anyway news on my engine. The guy blew his tranny on the way down to myrtle and had to have it rebuilt. But he said he'll have it Friday when my hubby goes to work. So Saturday should be a funfilled day.

Update: The engine is in town... well it was. Its on it's way to the city my Blazer is in. I would have grabbed a pic but my phone was almsot dead and wouldn't let me open the camera. But its nice and shiny well... sorta.

I add Lucas every or every 2nd fill & with my truck lifted, way oversized tires etc (lots of wind) I'm still getting around 350K/tank city... I'm happy with that because when I got it in Sept. 08 I was getting well under 300K/tank, maybe 260K YIKES!
260 is about 157 miles/tank, now it's around 210 miles/tank in the city & I can live with that

I replaced the driver side door pins & bushings....glad I picked up a spring compressor. Job took about 35 minutes. Got the rear window washer going again. I had the drivers leather seat cushion redone...great job. Replaced all inside door panel plastic holders...made a big difference in squeaking coming from door panels. Over 193,000 miles & still going, uses no oil.

I'm going to pick up my 358 and take it to meet Dirty Girl today. As well as clean some parts from my old engine so they look brand new like the engine is lol. Trips to Autozone will happen, pick up some engine enamel if my dad doesn't have any left and of course the neccessary fluids and whatnot ill need. Supposedly I'm getting a brand new high performance hydraulic cam as well... so we shall see.

Had some real good news today. Our UK market Blazers require a 5 digit security code to be entered (via the foglight switch) to start them in the event of the immobiliser fob breaking. I never had this code but I contacted the previous owner in the slim chance he might have it & he's sending it to me today. I'm well pleased!
The only way I could have got the code was to go to a GM USA dealer (which is miles away from me) and pay them a rip-off fee to hook it up to a Tech 2 & have the code read.
The chances are I will never need it but it's a good feeling to know that I won't be stranded if I were ever to get problems.
