I'm checking up on my engine this weekend. Dad called today and by what he said I could have an engine in my truck very soon, maybe this weekend. So I've got an eventful week ahead, my birthday, engine is almost done, and I might even be meeting my son soon... all like 11 pounds of him lol.

Welp, I haven't gotten much, but I got alot of things in the works.

I have in hand a Cobra 19dx CB radio.

Yeah, not the dxIII or the dxIV, the first model dx.

Just need a antenna and maybe a new mic. I'am driving to my local 4x4/fab shop and cut a deal on some bumper relocation brackets. I have a order from JC Whitney for a grille guard and a new set of tow hooks that left Grove city Ohio at 12:00 noon today. If I can get a pretty day this weekend I'm gonna do the gap guards for the body lift. That's about it at the moment.

Oh yeah and Luis is sending this to me...

Oh yeah! lifted 1st gen ford recovery sticker. I'm amped for that decal!

Well he's still in my stomach lol. But only for another week or two. And I've got new pics of the engine ill have up soon. But the guy we bough the engine from told my husband something about the engine that was important... but of course he doesn't understand anything mechanical so he didn't pay attention. Said it was something about the heads needing rebuilt... not sure why but ill find out tonight what he means.

Cleaned out master cylinder, Changed axle seals, cleaned out diff, stripped drum brakes and JB welded the grooves in the backing plates, let brakes bleed for a long time the inside of the system is filthy. New hardware and shoes when the JB cures tomorrow. Maybe start on putting in the stereo or stripping the mouldings.

Looky what I'm ordering monday, mom said she had a surprize for my b-day, but I wasn't expecting this...

250 amp beefed up AD-244 alternator from DB electrical. I've never had a high power audio set-up before and always had to bump at high RPM's to keep stress off the electrical. Now I can slap all day long. 250 amps at 1200 RPM, 125 at 600 RPM, WIN!
